I "collect"., well, "just gotta have" more than I use them, though I do carry a 4S-CP, Becker neck knife, and an Emerson Super Commander for "emergencies" and a Ritter Mini-Griptillian and "razor" for every day use, but do have a "thing" for knives, LOL!

The ESEE 6 is a bit lighter than the BK-7, has a finger choil, thinner blade edge fir food prep and a better blade design for skinning game. Neither come from the manufacturer with a 90 degree spine for ferro rod use. I have used both knives for camping. If I had to pick one, it'd probably be the ESEE 6 with TKC scales.

I think ESEE makes some of the best knives when it comes to function vs price. I know you have the ESEE 4 listed, but my choice would have been the ESEE 6. Fallkniven makes some very good knives as well especially if you are looking for Stainless blades. Their F1 in VG10 is equivalent to the ESEE 4 and the S1 (5 inch blade) or A1 (6 inch blade.
