The 50-year-old Skanzen is the biggest open air museum of Hungary and is situated at the foot of the Pilis Mountains, on the territory of a nature reserve. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was buzzing with local Hungarians, either there as visitors with their children or as volunteers.
