The 50-year-old Skanzen is the biggest open air museum of Hungary and is situated at the foot of the Pilis Mountains, on the territory of a nature reserve. Craftspeople and artisans do their thing on random days (generally on weekends) from Easter to early December, and the museum hosts festivals throughout the season.
